THE CODE OF THE TEMPLE
The Temple Of The Old Ones will not tolerate any criminal behaviour by its members.
Cultists are expected to be law-abiding citizens and respectful members of society.
CORE VALUES
These are the traits which the Temple considers important for all our Cultists to embody.
Unification
We come together and are bound
Ascension
We will always strive to become
Respect to the Old Ones
Entity or concept; they’re what we hold to
Commitment
We are the Temple and are housed by it
Behavioral Code of Conduct
To the Old Ones, we are insignificant. All equally so! Issues of race, sex and other such dividing aspects prevalent within many other religions are not accepted within the Temple. Each of our members must behave honourably and respectfully towards not just their fellow siblings, but the unawoken alike.
General Expectations
Whilst participating in any in-person or online activity we expect our Cultists to:
- Show respect to all members.
- Not be disruptive.
- Adhere to the Temple’s creed and general guidelines of the platform.
- Exemplify the role of a Cultist within the Temple.
Behavioural Violations
Failure to treat others with respect or bring unwanted attention to the temple for hateful actions may result in banishment from the Temple. The fate of those who breach the code of conduct will ultimately be decided by the Nyth teams and Council of Five and will be decided on a case by case scenario by them. Punishment will match the severity of the action with banishment considered a “last resort” as every opportunity will be given to a cultist to change behaviour prior to expulsion.
The Temple is not here to punish Cultists but rather to promote growth as the breaches may also come about from a lack of education in such matters or a simple lack of understanding or contact with groups other than one’s own. But if a Temple member refuses to change; if they are demonstrating stagnation, inability to ascend, and poor representation of the Temple as a whole then we will come together and protect ourselves from such individuals. Not just to hold the image of the Temple but to safeguard its members alike.
